Electrolysis

Electrolysis

The only modality recognized by the FDA to remove body hair permanently.

After your individual series of treatments are complete, there is no hair to remove on the part of the body where the follicle was treated, ever again. You are just left with your lovely, hairless, face/body.

As your Electrologist, I use a very fine, sterile, single use needle, of the highest quality, and insert it alongside the hair shaft and into the hair follicle on the face or body. A mild current destroys the growth in the cells within the follicle.

Versatility

Electrolysis is effective for people with any skin type, skin color, hair type, and hair color. Electrolysis is suitable for any area of the body - including the eyebrows. IT WORKS FOR ALL HAIR COLORS, including white/grey hair, blonde, and red. It works well for smaller areas, such as the eyebrows, chin, upper lip, jaw line, neck, or any small areas. Electrolysis usually ranges from 15 minutes to 1 hour. Treatments usually are increments of 15 minutes.

What Hair Removal Treatment(s) is Best? Electrolysis, laser, or Both?

Both laser hair removal and electrolysis treatments provide a long-term solution to unwanted hair growth. hair that was not destroyed by laser hair removal will be disabled with electrolysis. Remember, that the laser has a hard time finding lighter hairs like white, blonde, and red, so electrolysis is a perfect way to get rid of those hairs left behind.

Laser hair removal may lead to a 75%-90% permanent hair reduction. The remaining hair can be effectively treated and permanently removed with electrolysis.

As the laser targets darker pigment, it will only pick up on dark hairs and won't damage the others, therefore electrolysis is the perfect solution, post laser treatment.

For best results, a combination treatment would be to start with laser treatment and finish with electrolysis.
